The reason i want to do moving image next year.
Been thinking about the visual essay we have to write & hand in. Been thinking how the fuck im supposed to compare 3 practitioners and explain why i want to going into moving image...so i started looking around at videos and sort of stumbled into this post.
I think these 4 videos some up why i want to do moving image.
Their just so different.

Like the first one shows how to can have the shortest clip with the simplest imagery but still have the biggest impact, i love those little viral advertising, teaser sort of things.

The second one just shows how messed up trippy and experimental you can be, thats what i love too, i used to be like that when doing graphic design & sort of still am....but doing it in video just takes it to a next level.

The third one i think shows how you can have no fancy camera angles/lighting/effects but still create an amazing music video just on concept alone! i love the idea of this, sort of makes me want to make a short film with doing the same thing? but i havent got the guts to chain snatch someone (plus im slow as fuck)....but i could do it with found objects?

& then the last one i just think the whole styling of it is sick, form the naturally lit shots where there kissing and just swinging the lamp around, to the hand held look at the beginning....and the end is just class! shows how much a video can improve a song a lot and compliment it.

So really what im trying to say is i want to do moving image cause its pretty much limitless (limits being the reason im sort of bored of graphic design right now)

Feels weird actually writing a course related post aha...also check this out

Definitely going to spend countless hours watching them before our next project.
